E-uphoria by Alessia Moccia is proud to announce the launch of its latest art show, "Damn Sexy," at the Selina Chelsea Gallery, which celebrates the diverse and multi-faceted concept of sexiness. The exhibition challenges the common perception that "sexy" is limited to erotic or pornographic content and instead explores the various aspects of life that can embody sexiness. Featuring works from talented niche artists, "Damn Sexy" is a captivating and thought-provoking exhibition. David Arky's x-ray photography captures the intricate details of women's lingerie and bags and defines the no limits of his unique art photography. The provocation of Pamela Lubell's collection of helmets showcases art through the lens of personal passion; the helmets represent all mental and physical trauma against various elements: abuse of power, violence, greed, and mental manipulation, along with helmets expressing hope, love, humor, and healing. Blockhead's wood-crafted art pieces add an organic touch to the exhibition. He uses blockheads to bring variety to the repetition of a singular form. Eva Mueller's photography, Flowers & Chocolate, is a series of hyper-realized and beautifully lit photographs of Black erect penises paired with flowers, Mueller talks about the complex interplay of beauty, race, racism, sexuality, and taboo. “If you look at the flower, you have to look at the penis, it is close-up and in your face.” Each photo image is presented in a hand-constructed light box. These backlit images form islands of light in the dark gallery space and create an intimacy and secrecy atmosphere. Flowers & Chocolate was born out of my observation that black male sexuality was either fetishized, feared, ignored, or labeled taboo. Iris Brosh's video projections reveal the garden's purity. Francesca Ferretti's NFT collection creates a movement, the women involved in music, and Alessia Moccia's NFT collection on Italian futurism and women all bring unique perspectives to the topic of sexiness. Tracy Johnson's rug collection expertly details women with fabrics and faux fur. In contrast, Tina Psoinos' elegant playboy women and Angela Frances' sensual collages offer fresh takes on the concept of sexiness. Julia Rivera's tribute to women adds a powerful and moving element to the show, rounding out the diverse collection of artists and works on display. "Damn Sexy" promises to be an exhibition that challenges and expands viewers' understanding of what it means to be sexy. Come to the Selina Chelsea Gallery to experience this exciting new show and immerse yourself in the world of sensual art. RSVP alessia@e-uphoria.comEva Mueller
