ABOUT THE EVENT: We follow a simple equation: Featured Songwriters + Audience Choir + Backing Band = MAGICAL MUSICAL JOURNEY Songwriters bring us the tender fruits of their labor: songs! YOU, the amazing audience choir, will learn a bit of the song and sing & improvise along, guided by the inimitable spirited Milly Roberts. Nate Shaffer directs the house band — a maximally supportive cohort of improvising instrumentalists — supporting the magic every half step and whole step of the way. After an amazing first go at the Lilypad in November, we are back! The Soirée celebrates music, community, and the spirit of play in a unique and majestic way. Come for the fun, appreciate the artistry, and stay for the delightful community.
