partita is a dining club that celebrates the harmony between food and music. This unique event pairs a three-course dinner with live performances by a rotating cast of world-class musicians. Each course features a thoughtful and connected pairing of the food you’ll eat and the music you’ll enjoy. This month, partita will be hosted by our founder Hannah Santisi, conservatory-trained violist and self-taught chef. Our full menu will be revealed at the event, and includes local vegetables, fresh seasonal salad, heirloom grains, braised meats, a vegetarian entrée option, and a bite of sweetness for our coda. We will be providing non-alcoholic drinks but feel free to BYOB. Our first partita will feature Aaron Wolf on cello and Jackie Gillette on clarinet. Described by the Chicago Tribune as “a musician of quicksilver brilliance,” Aaron Wolff is a New York City-based cellist active in solo, collaborative, and cross-disciplinary capacities. Aaron gave his Carnegie Hall debut in Weill Recital Hall as the winner of the 2023 Leo B. Ruiz Memorial recital. His favorite vegetable is eggplant. Born and raised in Brooklyn, clarinetist Jackie Gillette’s journey is characterized by exceptional performance prowess and a steadfast commitment to music education. With a passion for both preserving the classical tradition and pushing the boundaries of musical expression, Jackie has become a captivating figure in the world of classical music. Her go-to late night snack is ice cream.
