Soup Night @ Life Drawing Boston
Hey, it’s Lala! I'm hosting the first ever community Soup Night at Life Drawing Boston. I usually do this kind of thing for friends but now I'm seeing my big dream come true to cook an inordinate amount of food for even more people :) You're invited! Come alone or bring friends, the idea is to eat and meet people and celebrate this beautiful high summer bounty of fruits and vegetables.

This is a TICKETED event to avoid food waste. Your $30 ticket covers all the food for the night. I'll be serving bread, soup, and cake buffet-style. There will be tables and chairs to sit, and possibly some benches without tables, and outdoor space. Please BYOBooze and you're encouraged to BYOBowl (like, for the soup. Bring a bowl to eat soup lol) but there will be bowls and cutlery if you forget.

Tickets are NON REFUNDABLE. If you can't make it, please give your tickets to a friend and tell them to use your name at the door.

- Homemade bread
- Pork meatballs in fruit preserve (vegetarian meatballs available upon request)
- Tomato gazpacho (served cold)
- Chocolate cake
(I know "gazpacho" usually sucks but TRUST ME I'm making an excellent one, I promise it won't taste like cold salsa.)
Due to the nature of this group meal, dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Every part of the meal contains gluten. The gazpacho is vegetarian and entirely raw. The meatballs contain meat, but there are vegetarian meatballs available (make sure to let me know if you're vegetarian in the RSVP). There's dairy in the cake. There will be no nuts in the meal but the food will be made in a kitchen where nuts are often present.

Life Drawing Boston is located at 72 Joy Street, Somerville MA 02143.
It is a 15 mins walk from the new Union Square station in Somerville. There's plenty plenty plenty of on-street parking available if you choose to drive.

This is a community dinner event, not a restaurant. Drink responsibly and be kind to others. Please be respectful of the space, flag me down regarding spills, and don't take your booze outside the perimeter of the outdoor space. I'm very excited to be bringing my cooking to a larger group and I want you to have a blast <3
