The Sometimes You Should Be Late book tour is coming to Dallas and Interabang Books, and the sloth on the cover would be delighted if you joined us. I'm delight to be joined by Dr. Joy Woods Bennett: She is a communications strategist, researcher, and lifelong lover of stories. Through her work, she helps athletes, entertainers, authors, and public figures clarify who they are, what they stand for, and how they want to make an impact. Outside of her professional work, Joy is an avid reader who believes books have the power to spark meaningful conversations and bring people together. When she's not working, you'll usually find her with a book in hand, exploring a museum, or spending time with her two dogs This won’t be a traditional book talk. Instead, we’ll explore our relationship with time in a world that often tells us faster is better. Through stories from the book and conversation as a community and in small groups, we’ll consider what becomes possible when we make a little more room for presence, connection, and intention.
