Join us to hack the Future of Work October 12th at Duan Center for Computing & Data Sciences at Boston University!
Together with Human Cloud and Fairmarkit, we are building AI agents that automate workflows that actually deliver value -> building tools that make HR, consulting, and knowledge work smarter, faster, and more effective.
Our special guest is Tim Valicenti, lecturer at MIT Sloan School of Management, who will kick off the session by setting the scope for designing solutions that deliver value through workflow automation.
As always we will have the latest AI News with Andrew Mead from Vector Lab and Talia Kusmirek will give us best insights to improve workflows design.
Workflows we’ll explore:
✔️ Auto-talent systems — find the right candidates, onboard them efficiently, and track employee progress
✔️ Strategy engines — analyze data and trends to generate actionable insights
✔️ Knowledge amplifiers — surface the right information across teams and projects
✔️ Negotiation partners — model scenarios and optimize deals and agreements
Thank you to Human Cloud and Fairmarkit for making this hack possible!
Human Cloud: Human Cloud is the leading media and data platform for flexible talent, engineering an AI-native product—the Shopify for 2,000+ flexible talent providers. They aim to scale each enterprises' flexible talent spend to $1B annually.
Fairmarkit: Fairmarkit is an Agentic AI sourcing platform that automates procurement for enterprises like BP, Boston University, and Boeing. The company has raised $80 million in total funding and has been named on Forbes as “Best Startup Employers”, Inc5000 as the fast growing company, & on Fast Company’s "Most Innovative Companies" list.
Scope
- Projects must align with the theme: “AI Agents Automating Workflows.”
- Teams are encouraged to work on the challenge presented by Human Cloud and Fairmarkit, while the hack remains open for hackers to pitch and pursue their own ideas.
- Solutions should leverage AI agents to automate tasks, processes, or decision-making in a meaningful way.
Also, if you are looking for a co-founder, Sundai will run a three-week long Hacker Combinator program to hack on projects and apply to YC together starting Oct 26. The October 12th hack is a great opportunity to meet your co-founder and work together. Click for more information here: https://www.sundai.foundation/hacker-combinator

✨What is Sundai✨
Sundai Club is the largest MIT / Harvard AI hacker group that meets every sunday to build a new AI app from scratch by the end of the day.
We had done 70+ hacks back-to-back in the last year - one for every sunday.
------------------------------------
✨Our mission at Sundai ✨
_"Push the envelope of what is possible to do with AI in a day."_
1. Grow the Best Hackers
learn to build fast with AI
2. Build things that matter
users / $$$ / github ⭐️s
3. Spread the Hacker Mindset
teach the skills that we learn at MIT and beyond
------------------------------------
✨Our Principles✨
Build.
Ship.
Shortcuts
- Build: The purpose of Sundai is to get together and build things. Every Sunday.
- Ship: get off the localhost. Deploy a simple webapp demo that works on the internet. Go for less, to do more.
- Shortcuts: Shortcuts is an ingenious move that a hacker makes to build a system that works. In order to build fast - you always need to think in shortcuts.
