Are you a young Muslim woman passionate about creating safer communities in NYC? Join the Malikah Safety Ambassador Program, a two-year fellowship in which we train high school aged Muslim girls in organizing, trauma-informed facilitation and self-defense techniques on weekly 90 minute sessions at our center in Astoria. Selected participants will receive a stipend of $500 per year of participation. Applications are due September 16, 2024 by 11:59 PM ET.
