 Bring a flag that represents your roots and run through the streets with us. This is more than a run—it’s a statement, a celebration, and a tribute to where we come from and who we carry with us.

Our ancestors moved—not just to survive, they moved to connect, to resist, and to carry stories across generations. On February 15th, we run to honor them.

After the run, Primer Rebelde de América will be hosting a pop-up at Selva.

I understand that participating in a group run on public streets is a potentially hazardous activity that may result in injury or death. By signing this waiver, I confirm that I am in good health, properly trained, and physically able to participate. I agree to abide by any decision made by SOMBRA CIVILIZATION event organizers regarding my participation, including the right to deny or suspend my participation for any reason. I assume all risks associated with this run, including but not limited to: * Falls, physical contact with other participants, volunteers, event personnel, and spectators. * The potential contraction of a communicable disease through contact with others. * Weather conditions including high heat, humidity, freezing temperatures, and unpredictable terrain. * Urban running hazards such as traffic, uneven pavement, road crossings, and interactions with the public. I further agree to follow all health and safety guidelines set by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) regarding COVID-19 and other communicable diseases and assume all risks related to exposure or infection. By signing this waiver, I, for myself and anyone acting on my behalf, release SOMBRA CIVILIZATION, event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, the city of New York, and any affiliated partners from all claims or liabilities related to my participation, even if caused by negligence. Additionally, I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and other illnesses and voluntarily assume all risks of exposure or infection, which may result in illness, permanent disability, or death. I accept full responsibility for my participation. I grant permission to SOMBRA CIVILIZATION  and its affiliates to use my photographs, videos, or recordings from this event for promotional purposes.
