We’re so excited to bring you a brand new piece by the incredible Priya Ele—join us for a reading of “Rose of the World”! Come along for friends, snacks, dancing, and, of course, the story! About the playwright… 🌹 Priya Ele is a New York based writer who is graduating from New York University after studying dramatic and creative writing. She has work in a variety of magazines, most recently being Passages North, The Blood Pudding, HAD, and Rejection Letters. She reads for West 10th Literary Magazine and X-RAY Literary Magazine. Her play "Red Handed" went up at the Soho Playhouse in 2023. About the play... 🌹 Set in the 90s, the Roses, a group of elite supermodels, try to get back to work after the death of the group's top model. CW: Mentions of suicide and allusions to sexual assault.
