You've built amazing projects. Now it's time to embrace your incipient virality at the... 🚀 Launch-a-thon!! 🚀 I have so many un-launched projects that I would just love the world to know about. You do too!! Let’s meet up and launch our projects together, supporting each other through active conversation on Twitter, Github, LinkedIn, HN, and Product Hunt. A new experiment - the Launch-a-thon! We'll be launching alongside the CEO of ProductHunt, Rajiv Ayyangar, and our wonderful sponsors, General Catalyst. 1. Shore up the loose ends on your project - clean up the GitHub, make your most beautiful Readme.md, & ask savvy friends for feedback on your launch tweets. 2. Finish up the bits of the project that could use some attention, bring in some early users to get testimonials & real product feedback, and bring your happy users / customers on stage with you! 3. Launch in front of & with everyone else at the launch-a-thon!! We’ll support your launching tweets with likes and comments, and we’ll cheer you on as you present with a video you can add to your project’s pedigree. Come spend a day recording demos, refactoring/cleaning code, writing docs, setting up web hosting, and prepping launch materials for your coolest projects. It's tough to allocate time for this stuff as heads-down builders, but the joy of seeing people appreciate/use/contribute to your project once it's public is unbeatable.
