About “Metropolis Heights”:
The single is the first for Johnny under his solo project “Hwin” following his tenure with Cathedrals and features fellow 57 artist-in-residence Doug Desmond as executive producer.
“Metropolis Heights” was conceived in the summer of 2018 when Hwin first moved to 57 and was introduced to the world of modular synths by Desmond. The track is an ode to the scale and grandeur of living in New York for the very first time, and embodies the excitement from the formative days of creating what would evolve into the synth studio and community known as 57.
