HTX MADE PRESENTS is proud to invite acclaimed visual artist, writer, and director Andrew Thomas Huang to Houston! Known for his Grammy nominated music videos of Björk, FKA twigs and Thom Yorke, Huang's films and visual art mines the unconscious realms to blend technology, mysticism, Chinese heritage, future folklore, and queer spirituality.
On Sunday, June 29, SANMAN Studios will host Huang for an intimate conversation on world-building, creative impulses, & hybrid methodologies. Huang will present “Weaving Biomythography into Film Narrative", an hour-long lecture about incorporating the stories of our lives into creative processes. A showcase + roundtable led by local Houston artists will follow -
