This is a space for afros across all backgrounds, because the assignment is simple: show up in your natural texture, be seen, and help shift the energy from division to connection.

Photos will be taken throughout the event. Guests who are photographed will receive a free hair pick while supplies last.

2. By RSVPing yes, I understand Afro Takeover is a photography experience and agree to be photographed during the event. I also agree that any photos or videos taken of me may be used for Afro Takeover’s social media, promotional, and event-related content. I understand guests who are photographed individually will receive one complimentary hair pick while supplies last.

3. This event celebrates afros and natural texture across all backgrounds. Do you understand this is an inclusive, respectful space?
