Tree Temple Artist Showcase: The Porch Rippers
Hello Beloved Community!
Since we've been having so much fun hosting our favorite artists in our home, I'm thrilled to introduce yet another set of dear friends and magical musicians who are so generously sharing their music in our space!
Join us for the premiere of a new collaboration between M'Gilvry Allen (fiddle/guitar/electronics) and Kyle Nuccilli (banjo/gourd banjo/guitar), exploring the deep roots and wild futures of Appalachian music.
M'Gilvry produces music under his own name, and as part of The Good Dream and Singing The Bones. Kyle's music is available online as The Portal Project.
Please bring snacks and drinks to share if you'd like, and most certainly make sure to bring your instruments for an open jam afterwards!
Suggested donation is $15, and nobody will be turned away for lack of funds. We will also be using this as an opportunity to help fundraise for Kyle to rebuild his home, which was damaged in the floods in hurricane Helene, so please give generously if you're able. We do not charge for use of the space, so any donations will support the artists and the fundraiser.
Parking is limited/annoying as hell, so please plan to account for 15-30 minutes to park and walk to the house.
