You are invited to our dialogue about what lessons, in the age of AI and continued tech acceleration, we would be wise to re-learn about building community and human connection through small groups and shared experiences—like a pizza party! Speakers Noah Aptekar is a founder and serial intrapreneur who drives strategic initiatives across the public, private and nonprofit sectors. Currently, he is one of the co-founders and directors of a new 501c3 nonprofit, Atlas for Democracy, distilling and disseminating the art and science of civic small groups—how they form and how they multiply—and why every organization needs a small group strategy today. Previously, Noah cofounded a Nasdaq SPAC, led instrumental initiatives for SpaceX’s Starlink and established a >$100m program for the Governor of Colorado to support entrepreneurs in advanced industries. David Foster is a strategy and social impact leader with experience building and scaling programs that drive equity, empathy, and organizational transformation. As Head of Programs & Operations at the Groundwater Institute, he leads organizational strategy and program design for immersive learning experiences that achieve 90+ NPS scores and inspire lasting change. Previously, he served as Vice President of Strategy & Implementation at Alliance College-Ready Public Schools and held consulting and strategy roles with Boston Consulting Group, The Wonderful Company, and the City of Los Angeles. This event is a part of #LATechWeek—a week of events hosted by VCs and startups to bring together the tech ecosystem. Learn more at www.tech-week.com.
