:◗Black Panda (Eddie, Pandamonium) and Ed Hofmann are bringing the second installment of our day party event series, Soul Salon, in collaboration with The Faight Collective.
We’re excited to welcome ZZ (Fault Radio, Hyde FM) and jarradcleofé (KULARTS) to the lineup! Ed and I will be opening up the space, and we’re so stoked to have these folks on board.
We’ve wanted to create a safe space where art and community can coexist without the pressure of the club atmosphere while we support local businesses. We’ve seen the spirit of events like Daybreaker where we can bring people together from different communities and celebrate our rich San Francisco art scene through music, dance, art, and food. We’ve yearned for an alternative to long nights of clubbing where we can relax, enjoy the moment, and feel refreshed as we head into each week.
We were having a conversation about building an event where our friends from different communities have a chance to get together, listen to amazing music, and meet new people during the day.
It was time to have a space where we could give back to our broader community and bring local dance scene crews together to enjoy each other’s company.
And let’s be real: We all feel the Sunday Scaries sometimes, and we should have a space to let loose and let our creativity run free.
So, get ready for a day of music, art, food, cold brew, and dance at The Faight in the Haight. We’ll have coffee as well as a limited menu from the restaurant next door including:
- Half Burrito w/ Potatoes
- French Toast w/ Fruit
- Fruit Parfait
- Side of Potatoes
