Join us for an intimate community screening of "Ghosts of Chinatown", the finale episode of the true crime documentary series Out There (on Hulu & Disney+).
Screening will be followed by a Q&A with the director, Dolly Li, and L.A. Times's entertainment and arts reporter, Ashley Lee. Post-screening outdoor reception to follow.

"Ghosts of Chinatown" episode synopsis:
In 2012, a wave of mysterious ghost stories haunted women in San Francisco’s Chinatown. Local detectives were stumped by their findings, detailing tales of ancient Chinese folkloric practices involving ghost marriages and shamans. This episode takes you on a journey from America’s oldest Chinatown all the way to Hong Kong, tracing the haunted path that led to this 2012 crime spree in San Francisco. About the director:
Dolly Li (@bydollyli) is an Emmy award-winning journalist and documentary filmmaker. She specializes in investigative stories that capture the zeitgeist of today’s most pressing global issues, from race to religion to gun control. Over the past decade, her work has taken her from the Mississippi Delta to Western China. A native New Yorker, she's currently based in Los Angeles.
