Tectonic Threads 8- Clothing Swap for Fire Releif

Another epic clothing swap at Uzay Gallery. This swap series is called Tectonic Threads because the idea is to unite friends from both sides of The Bay. This editon we are asking for a $10 OPTIONAL donation to cover a door person, cleanup helper, and raise funds for LA Fire Releif (we are looking for an org/mutual aid group rn so DM me with suggestions - Liz). Leftover clothes will go to Double Vision Thrift - Initially they were going to LA but after consulting with folks with disaster relief experience this is not the best thing to give rn for a number of reasons. Consider volunteering! This helps us have more swaps. Bring clothing you want to pass on- (I now dye stained natural fiber items so grungy things are OK) many of us drop in really special easter egg items, or just bring yourself (it's not required to bring things). Peruse other items people have brought and take as much as you'd like. It's not a 1-1 swap. We always have leftovers. Again, you don't have to bring clothes. What else can I bring? Friends - more the merrier! BYOB! or drinks to share Potluck Dishes - We'd love to crowdsource food. *any donated libations are much appreciated* Q: What type of clothes will be there? A: We'd like to have options for all bodies and gender expressions, a good chunk will be femme clothes. Q: Can I bring items beyond clothing? A: Accessories, household items, makeup, skincare and anything else you want to gift skew towards nice items. If you bring non-clothing stuff - help us out by taking it back if it doesn't get claimed. We've spent hours of our time rehomeing a bunch of random items post swap - no more!
