Voss Gallery, in partnership with the Ferry Building, presents "Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story," an unprecedented group exhibition that illuminates the vibrant soul of the Bay Area through the lenses of its most creative artists. This juried group exhibition captures the unique narrative of San Francisco—a city where the pulse of urban energy harmoniously blends with the allure of natural beauty. By featuring over 50 of the Bay Area’s most compelling artistic talents, this event not only offers a prestigious platform at Voss Gallery but also awards 20 of the showcased artists an extraordinary opportunity to magnify their work at the iconic Ferry Building through large-scale banners. "Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story" celebrates of the region's enchanting essence and the Ferry Building's enduring legacy as a landmark of innovation, elegance, and a gateway to the heart of San Francisco. Join us in showcasing the dynamic and diverse stories that make the Bay Area an epicenter of artistic excellence. A celebration for the awarded artists will be held during the Ferry Building Day Anniversary event on Friday, July 12th from 5PM - 7PM, followed by an Opening Reception at Voss Gallery on Saturday, July 13th from 5-9PM. The exhibition is on view through August 31, 2024. Gallery hours are Wednesday-Saturday, 12-6PM or by appointment. These works were selected from hundreds of submissions by our esteemed panel of judges: Ashley Voss, Owner/Director at Voss Gallery; Joen Madonna, Executive Director at ArtSpan; and representatives from SFMOMA, Asian Art Museum, and the Port of San Francisco.
