◉‿◉˘▿˘*◟*Black Panda (Eddie Rios, Pandamonium) and Ed Hofmann are thrilled to announce the first installment of our day party event series, Soul Salon, in collaboration with Fault Radio and Studio Aurora.
We’re excited to welcome Silk’s Seven7Seven (Lefty b2b Kilo.wav) and Disco Honey’s DoppelDJs (DJ Kinki b2b e’Lish) to the lineup! Ed and I will be opening up the space, and we’re so stoked to have these folks on board.
Set times:
Black Panda x Ed Hoffman: Noon-2 pm
DoppelDJs: 2-4 pm
Seven7Seven: 4-6 pm
And we’re thrilled to bring on Tori’s Coffee House (IG: @toriscoffeehouse) to sell espresso drinks and matcha for the first two hours of Soul Salon. A portion of proceeds will go to support the artists that day as well as the Tori’s crew. So come early for some brew!
We’re also excited to have the artist Cami Costoya host an art corner. Catch her artwork on her IG @camicostoya.
We’ve wanted to create a safe space where art and community can coexist without the pressure of the club atmosphere while we support local businesses. We’ve seen the spirit of events like Daybreaker where we can bring people together from different communities and celebrate our rich San Francisco art scene through music, dance, art, and food. We’ve yearned for an alternative to long nights of clubbing where we can relax, enjoy the moment, and feel refreshed as we head into each week.
We were having a conversation about building an event where our friends from different communities have a chance to get together, listen to amazing music, and meet new people during the day.
It was time to have a space where we could give back to our broader community and bring local dance scene crews together to enjoy each other’s company.
And let’s be real: We all feel the Sunday Scaries sometimes, and we should have a space to let loose and let our creativity run free.
So, get ready for a day of music, art, food, and dance at Fault Radio’s new home at Studio Aurora.
