Come out and celebrate our filmmakers at the 2nd annual Echoes in the Dark Short Film Showcase! Echoes in the Dark is a short film showcase designed for Black Filmmakers who have a strong passion for expressing stories within the Horror, Sci-fi, and Thriller spaces. These are genres that lack the divine touch of the Black experience. However, we strive to change that. Echoes in the Dark is a platform that helps Black creatives amplify their voices in a space that often does not accept us. We highlight key themes of the Black experience, meshing them into compelling films that will leave you gripping the edge of your seat, literally and figuratively. We showcase narratives that exhibit nuanced ways to speak out upon the Black community all while providing some shock factor—while we’re at it.
