This full-day, hands-on workshop focuses on low-tech mushroom cultivation, ideal for home growers, gardeners, herbalists, and small-scale farmers. We’ll use North Spore materials and repurposed supplies to show how simple and effective home growing can be. 🧪 We’ll cover: • Working with liquid cultures and sterile technique without a flow hood • Expanding grain spawn on your stove • The bucket tek for growing oysters at home • Creating a woodchip bed for low-maintenance outdoor mushrooms 🌱 Whether you’re looking to grow indoors or in your yard, you’ll leave with the skills to start right away, and the confidence to expand. 🎁 Everyone takes home: • A mushroom growing starter kit • Access to a digital resource folder • A belly full of lunch and head full of spores ✨ Support the movement We’ll have MycoPop, mushroom extracts, merch, and more available on-site for purchase, and livestream tickets are available for the classroom portion.
