The Campfire Jam
hello, musicmaker!
you're invited to join me for the first-ever Campfire Jam, an improvised, participatory music experience we'll craft together with our sparks of creativity!
based on the tradition of circlesongs, we will compose musical creations in the moment by layering rhythms, melodies, and harmonies using our voices, bodies, and instruments. think of us as one giant human loop pedal!
inspired by the ancient tradition of gathering around a warm fire & sending songs up to the stars, we will play within gently structured games with plenty of chances to lead, follow, or just listen.
all are welcome, no matter your experience! instrumentalists are encouraged to bring their instruments. come make some new friends & some new music! i can't wait to hear what we create together through collaboration! <3
