The Spirit of Giving Mile

The holiday season, especially the Christmas season, is about love and sacrifice for the betterment of our neighbors. The Spirit of Giving Mile is an opportunity to express our love for running, and to help those in need at the same time. This special run club benefits Next Move Homeless Services, an organization in Sacramento that helps those in need have a place to stay, and eventually get a place of their own. If you're unable to be there in person, you can submit a GPS activity and proof of donation virtually. A typical entry fee for a mile race at a track meet is around $25 so that is the suggested donation amount. However, please give whatever makes the most sense for you and your family.
