This isn’t the asana yoga you know. This goes deeper. Trauma-informed yoga is a mindful approach to yoga that prioritizes safety, choice, and empowerment for individuals with a history of trauma. It recognizes the profound impact trauma can have on the mind-body connection and adapts yoga practices to address the specific needs of trauma survivors. This uses slow and intentional movements, invitational language, mindful breathwork, enhanced body awareness, great self-compassion, all within a safe space. Our practice closes with a Shavasana sound bath. 🙏🏼🤎
