Join us from 3-5pm as fine artist Hannah Franco and olfactory artist Carmen Rose unveil Aither—the fourth creation in their Eulogy x HFFA collaborative series. This partnership explores synesthesia, where Carmen’s perfumes serve as olfactory companions to Hannah’s oil paintings, translating visual elements like color, texture, and form into aromatic experiences. The collaboration recognizes and elevates scent as art on another plane.
Aither draws from Ancient Greek cosmology, capturing the ethereal air that the Greeks believed filled the uppermost region of the sky—bright blue, shimmering, and divine. This scent was designed as a ritual tool to enhance Hannah’s creative process, transporting her to that expansive realm where artistic inspiration takes form.
