Welcome to the first iteration of No Signal Studio, a new Brooklyn-based, phone-free event series! On November 12th from 7-9:30pm at @godspeedbk, we’ll be partnering with @go__figure__bk to put on a Poetry Open Mic event where guests are invited to draw the poets in real-time. Go Figure will provide materials, as well as instruction on how to draw moving subjects. No Signal will be consensually confiscating your phones for the entirety of the event (your RSVP counts as your consent). Tickets are $15 (Venmo @f-s-g to secure your spot) and will go toward a submission to be selected to perform for 5 minutes (8 people will be chosen at random), if you so choose. The night will also be featuring local seasoned poets Brooke Finegold & Bunny Overstreet. Come on out with your full attention, for an evening of art & connection (and lack thereof). See you there!
