This EP is about spring cleaning. Literally, emotionally, metaphorically. All of it. Each song is based on something I've been clearing out of my life to make way for the new. Whether it's a messy emotion like in "Jealousy" or a past relationship I thought I'd worked through like in "The Painter's Wife".
My songs tend to read like a diary entry which is why I'm transforming my friend's backyard into my bedroom. An up-close, intimate performance of what it looks like in my world, in my room writing songs. It's where I'm most comfortable.
We have the lovely Riley Polanski starting off the evening.
