NeurIPS Applied AI Research Hackathon

Come launch your next research paper, project, or replication at the NeurIPS inspired research hackathon!! As usual, one major rule - everyone must ship! Shipping types: 1. Replication. Re-implementation of a NeurIPS paper (NeurIPS encouraged, though another ML research paper is acceptable). Ship & demo the github repo. 2. Research Project. Start a new ML research project, and implement it to the point of getting some intermediate result. Ship & demo the github repo. 3. Research Paper. Write a research paper (Lit Review, Implementation / Experiments, Results, Abs / Intro / Conclusion) about an existing project you’ve worked on. Ship & walkthrough the paper at demos. Many of these ideas become lost as the code isn't heavily distributed, there isn't strong social proof via product adoption or twitter hype, or perhaps the idea is just one step away from being the next huge thing. We're going to take these awesome ideas and help bring them to industry by gathering the following types of people: - *Researchers* who deeply understand the concepts behind papers at NeurIPS - *Founders* & product leaders who have a track record of scaling to millions & deep understanding of industry pain points - *Hackers* who can take new ideas and rapidly prototype demo solutions If you fit into one or more of these categories, please come by Saturday, January 13th!
