Thank you all for being open to a different kind of experimental 😜 Many of you know I’ve been in the deep end on movement & body work for years now — turns out to be the most important self-learning I've done as a sentient meatbag. I wanted to start sharing some of this through a workshop series and I’m excited to keep developing these workshops alongside some of my closest friends 🤗 This specific workshop is meant to encourage you to move in ways your body isn’t used to doing — by subtlety rather than force. The theme I'm excited to incorporate with this group is how music (oontz oontz) can make the exploration more fun, relatable, and nuanced. ———————— We’ll be playing around with exercises that draw from: - Improv - Chronic pain management - Injury rehab - Functional movement techniques - Meditation - Dance and more dance Building on this^ foundation, themes guiding the workshop include: - Slowness - Curiosity - Breath - Imagery - Rhythm - and play!!
