Join us in welcoming educator, Phyllis Trout, who will guide us in a guided sensory based meditation to help you reconnect with your bodies, reduce stress, and deepen your appreciation for the simple richness of sensory life.
Following the meditation, Phyllis will lead us in an art making activity to deepen and ground our meditation in our conscious awareness.
š¤Meditation lowers cortisol (the stress hormone) and activates the parasympathetic nervous system, calming the body and mind.
š¤Meditation helps you witness thoughts and feelings without getting swept away by them, bringing greater self-awareness.
No previous experience with art making or meditation necessary!
