💌 Letters Live in the Garden: a Fringe Fundraiser
An evening of letters, love, and the eve of summer.
This summer, my play Letters to Joan is heading to the Edinburgh Fringe! It’s a story stitched from real love letters my grandparents wrote in 1956—full of dreams, longing, hope, and the lives they imagined together. Writing this piece has been the most personal and expansive thing I’ve ever done, and now I’m working to bring it to life on stage.
To help make that happen, I’m hosting a Garden Letters Live Night—a little fundraiser, a little party, and a lot of heart.
A few wonderful humans will share letters aloud—letters they’ve written, inherited, or simply love. From a note to a childhood friend, to a grandparent’s postcard, to a famous letter from history—anything goes.
The mic will stay open throughout the evening for spontaneous sharing, too. Bring a letter if you’d like. Bring a friend. Bring your whole heart.
Expect candlelight, snacks, wine (feel free to bring more!), and space to just hang out, connect, and be part of something warm and a little magical.
