Physical affection is a basic human need. And yet most male-bodied persons are used to receiving physical touch only in the context of romantic or sexual relationships. Many women, by comparison, have a natural, free-flowing language of physical touch. In this event, men will have the chance to break out of the societal conditioning that keeps them cut off from their natural desire for physical intimacy.
In this space, held by Alex Akarta and Hannah Hirsh, you will have the opportunity to start sourcing physical intimacy for yourself—i.e., to be a source for the physical touch you want to give and receive, instead of relying on romantic and sexual partners to provide it.
Together, we will face into the deep patterning that keeps men from creating intimacy with other men. After a discussion of these topics, you will have the opportunity to come into presence, drop into your body, and begin to give and receive simple acts of physical touch. Come nourish, ground, and connect with other men, in a safe space that will allow you to express your fears, boundaries, and desires.
This container is for male-bodied and male-identifying persons.
