Hey beautiful people,
Welcome to November and another Lit Club adventure. This month we're reading Braiding Sweetgrass: Indigenous Wisdom, Scientific Knowledge, and the Teachings of Plants by Robin Wall Kimmerer.
About the book:
Braiding Sweetgrass is a luminous blend of memoir, science writing, and Indigenous philosophy. As a botanist and member of the Citizen Potawatomi Nation, Kimmerer weaves together Western scientific understanding and ancestral ecological wisdom to show how plants teach us to live in reciprocity with the Earth. Through poetic essays about sweetgrass, strawberries, mosses, and maple trees, she invites readers to see nature not as a resource but as a relative. It’s both a love letter to the land and a guide for rebalancing our relationship with it.
Pricing: Pay-what-you-can tiered from $27.77–$55.55. Your contribution covers the labor of love and helps keep Lit Club accessible.
Come as you are. BYOB. Leave with more magic.

Hannah
