TL;DR: we're moving, this is our last ever pool party! 🥲 Prime Time: Saturday Sept 7th 2-10pm (ish) Smaller gathering: Friday Sep 6th 4-10pm *** Information *** The owner is preparing to sacrifice our amazing home to the cold hands of capitalism. Before they do, let's celebrate the adventure we've had here, and enjoy some final time in the pool! For Will D, It is time to move on, both from 5 years in the home, and 10 years in the Bay Area. He'll still be around, capturing hearts and video content. *** Logistics *** Feel free to bring along respectful humans or pets, but please let us know before your +1 brings their +10. As a requirement for coming to this party, you'll take something home with you, whether it is a kitchen appliance, one of our 4x dining room tables, 50+ chairs, or a post-it note. It's all gotta go! 😅😁 If you have time to help out, it would be wonderful to see you on Thursday or Friday! *** Food *** We have loads of beverages (spicy water on tap, shelves of hard liquor, a wine fridge full of bottles, beer, seltzer, and lots of non-alcoholic drinks) For the normal attendee, we'll have a variety of foods and snacks, and we'll fire up the grill for some burgers and dawgs (we'll have vegan options too!) For any very adventurous attendees, we'll have some "specialty" items that have sat in our cupboard or freezer for ...uhhh ... a while lol If anyone is good at taking random ingredients and making things, that would be hugely appreciated! For a taste of one of the projects I supported at Burning Man we’ll have a GongFuCha / Taiwanese style Tea Service 🍵 *** Venue *** There is a nice pool and hot tub in the backyard We have a few extra beds/couches/cots if anyone wants to stay over.
