ʘ‿ʘArt has always been a form of resistance and we encourage all to participate!
Come through, make some sick posters, signs, designs against POS ICE and deportations.
The goal is to motivate folks to create and paste up around your community. This art display is meant to show solidarity with folks who are scared, worried, or need a reminder that their community is with them 🤎✨
Hosts will have some supplies available to create such as paint, markers, poster paper, etc. but most importantly there will be wheat paste for you to have when finished with your pieces.
You are welcome to bring your own supplies to share with others and bring your own container for wheat paste. Some examples could be an empty plastic water bottle, tupper wear, or squeeze bottle.
Many other local artists will be there, so if you are in need of creative inspo there will be plenty of sick foos to help! Again, this is to bring folks together to express their ideas through art🤎
