MLK Jr. Celebration

Join us on Jan. 18, 2025 for Carrboro’s youth-led event that brings the community together to celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event will begin at 1 p.m. in Century Hall located at the Carrboro Century Center, 100 N. Greensboro St. Carrboro, NC 27510. We will then walk to Weaver Street Market for coffee or hot chocolate and talk about the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr and how we can do our part to make his dream (our dream) come true. Please bring your wallet (with money or card to buy whatever you want at Weaver Street), ID, and your phone. Please have your transportation pick you up from Weaver Street at 3:00 pm.
