Over tea and bites, we will be indulging in one of the oldest communication forms, letter writing with strangers. There’s one twist, the letters we will be writing aren’t meant to be sent because they’re completely fictional. Event Schedule: 7:00-7:15 Mix and mingle: a welcome drink and bite will be prepared as you come in and meet with other guests 7:15-7:30 Tea and Bites pairing: you'll be quickly introduced to the teas and bites we're serving on the center table and how they pair together 7:30-8:45: Fictional Letter Writing. We will provide you with a choice of prompts from mystery, historical fiction to love & loss. You can choose one prompt to start and halfway through, we ask you exchange your letter with someone else in the audience, introduce yourself as the character in your letter and share stories. After exchanging stories, you’ll respond to the other person’s letter. The space will be open until 9pm for you to meet mingle and enjoy a light spread.
