**LA is on fire, a totalitarian leader is headed back to the White House, and yet...**
Black women prophesy, make magic, and continue not only to survive but to thrive.
**At the end of the world, what do you want to be doing?**
I’ve asked myself this question over and over—on Election Day, the day after, and every day since. I will keep asking it until the new world comes. And I will ask it of my friends, family, lovers, and comrades.
Last year, I began a practice called **Sunday Sway**. We opened with a check-in, then rocked, danced, and swayed together to start our week. Since then, I’ve deepened my journey, becoming certified in Tantric Massage, enrolling in Tantra, trauma healing, and somatic education training, and being ordained as Baptist clergy.
I’ve become even more certain:
One thing I want to be doing as the world ends and begins again is loving Black women.
**Join me for the return, reinvention, and evolution of Sunday Sway.**
**Who:** Open to Black women and gender-expansive folks
**When:** Sunday, January 19th
**What:** A virtual night of movement, memory-work, and medicine
