DALA Photo Festival in partnership with The JUDE Group will host its inaugural event in Downtown Los Angeles—a silent charity photography auction to support our efforts and to benefit two incredible organizations whose missions are critical toward shaping a brighter future:
Radical Monarchs — A nationwide organization dedicated to creating opportunities for young girls and gender expansive youth of color to form fierce sisterhood, celebrate their identities and contribute radically to their communities with troops in the Bay Area, Los Angeles and New York.
Las Fotos Project— A Los Angeles based organization that elevates the voices of teenage girls & gender-expansive youth from communities of color through photography and mentorship.
The theme of this kick-off event is GENESIS—a celebration of new beginnings, transformation, and the power of creative expression. Through this lens, our hope is to help ignite positive change for the next generation of artists and activists.
