Do you find yourself feeling like you don't fully belong somewhere, or that your background is a mix of cultures, countries, and languages? Maybe you have a long answer to "where is home?"
You might be a Third Culture Kid (TCK), someone who grew up across cultures and feels a connection to many places and cultures. (For example I was born in Colombia but grew up in the US so I struggle to feel fully Colombian or fully American. I’ve also traveled a lot and lived abroad so feel connected to multiple cultures). There are many ways to be a “Third Culture” person!
If that sounds like you, we’ve got a meetup just for Third Culture people in Austin! Come swap stories, laugh about long-winded answers to “Where are you from?”, and connect with others who understand the TCK experience.
🪴 Bonus plant exchange! Bring a little plant, succulent, or cutting to share and take home a new green friend. Think of it as bringing a tiny piece of your “home everywhere” to swap with someone else.
