we’re back for a second year! have you ever looked around and realised you’re exactly where you want to be? that’s how we feel at the intersection of Black + Queer! that’s not to say our intersectionality comes without trials. we often find our inner world and outer world at odds because we show up as WHOLE beings, yet there is often the pressure to choose which one of our many identities we want to (or should) lead with. we can talk about that for days, but how about we do that for a couple of hours with those of shared values and identities? how about we share stories of ancestors with similar stories and those who have always seen and loved us for all that we are? how about we get together and celebrate one of the most beautiful times a year to be both Black + Queer? the link will go out the day before! hope to see you there! tuneofblackness.com
