Shay Bel Laban Book Reading: "Who is Naya?"

Join us at the Malikah Center with author Hala Araj for a book reading of her latest publications "Who is Naya? "Who is Naya? Is a children’s book about a seven year old Arab American girl who tries to understand her heritage and identity through a conversation with her immigrant mom. Naya’s conversation with her mom helps her learn about her uniqueness and the benefits of being part of two countries with two different cultures. This book can help other children from different backgrounds and cultures to find their own connection to their heritage. This book is recommended for young readers between the ages of 7 and 10.
