We All Live in Gaza, Documentary Film
Film Prescreening / Art Exhibit in support of Gaza artists.
Q&A by filmmaker Maurice Jacobsen
“It was inevitable, the military aggression of October 7th ,” a sentiment articulated by the artists of Gaza who have endured fifteen years of occupation and continuous military bombardment. We All Live In Gaza follows the lives of five Palestinian artists before and after October 7th, shining a light on the heart and soul of Gaza. www.we-gaza.com
This event is a screening of a work in progress. After filming in Gaza for almost a decade, the filmmakers behind "We All Live in Gaza" thought they had completed their film, and then October 7th happened. With the siege on Gaza radically changing the lives of the artists that they've followed, the filmmakers returned to Palestine to continue their stories. This screening will include unseen images from Palestinians within Gaza and show how life in Gaza has evolved before and after October 7th.
Unlike previous screenings, this screening's proceeds will be donated to the filmmakers to help complete this incredibly important story.
