In celebration of the second annual Nexus: SF/Bay Area Black Art Week, join us for Global Groove ReMix—a night of art, music, and connection honoring MoAD’s 20th Anniversary.
Presented in partnership with MoAD, YBCA, Empire, and The Svane Family Foundation, this evening reimagines the historic party that marked MoAD’s opening 20 years ago.
The night will feature two sets by LA-based DJ Novena Carmel and South Africa-based Kooldrink, bringing sounds from across the diaspora—including Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and Kizomba.
Get ready to dance and dress to impress—while celebrating the community and creatives who continue to elevate the arts in the Bay Area!
