As we enter a new presidential term, our community's safety and wellbeing are at risk. Muslim, immigrant, and marginalized groups will feel the impact of policies that threaten our future, making it more important than ever to stay informed and united. Join us this Monday at Malikah for a day of solidarity, healing, and empowerment. We’re holding space to strengthen our understanding of our rights, reflect on the challenges ahead, and build the resilience we need to move forward.
The event will feature a self-defense workshop, a Know Your Rights session on dealing with ICE led by the Muslim Community Network, and a community art healing space with creative activities like vision boarding, bracelet making, and more. Muslim immigrant women centered with Arabic translation.
