This is more than just a traditional “find a roommate” event — it’s a fun and stress-free way for students to meet potential roommates who share their lifestyle, interests, and study habits. With no hassle and a focus on compatibility, this event is designed to give students peace of mind as they prepare for the upcoming school year.
No lease at Hub Athens is required (but highly encouraged ;) )
Join us for:
1. Compatibility Testing:
We know that living with a roommate is about more than just finding someone who needs a place to stay. We’ll be conducting compatibility tests designed to match students based on personality, study habits, cleanliness preferences, social activities, and lifestyle. This ensures that you find someone you'll actually enjoy living with — no surprises!
2. Food & Fun:
We’ll have snacks, light bites, and fun ice-breaker games to make the event relaxed and enjoyable. It’s a great way for you to meet others in a casual environment, with no pressure.
3. Meeting New People:
Even if you don’t find their perfect roommate match at the event, they’ll still have the chance to meet others and network. Our goal is to provide a community space where students can make connections that will last beyond just finding a place to live.
4. No Hassle – We Handle the Matching:
In addition to the in-person event, we’re offering a Roommate Compatibility Questionnaire for students who can’t make it but still want to be matched with a compatible roommate. Simply fill out the form (released 2/14) and we’ll send a list of potential roommates based on their responses after the event 2/20. You can skip the endless roommate search and start with someone who aligns with your habits and preferences.
