This summer we have been OUTSIDE. Day parties, brunches, concerts and so much more. It's time for us to take a pause and thank our bodies for carrying and supporting us through it all, and we're doing it as a community.
For this event, we have partnered with The Intuit Body and Native Palms Nutrition. There will be a curated movement experience using techniques that refine strength and emphasize total body awareness. Following the movement class, we will indulge in a nutritional and intentional lunch with Hard Kombucha provided by Juneshine, who's mantra is honest alcohol for a healthier planet. We will be connecting with our bodies and nature, as this event will be hosted in Elysian Park.
In addition to this, given all the blessings that we've been showered in this year, it's prime time to pay it back. We are hosting a clothing swap and all leftover clothing will be donated to the East Los Angeles Women's Center. This women-founded center has been a beacon in the community since 1976, their mission is to ensure that all women, girls and their families live in a place of safety, health, and personal well-being, free from violence and abuse, with equal access to necessary health services and social support, with an emphasis on Latino communities.
SO, please bring any gently used clothing (no more than 5 pieces) that no longer serves you. All attendees will have an opportunity to grab a piece that works for them. Whatever is leftover will be donated.
