Join William Padilla-Brown for a full-day Intro to Permaculture Design workshop rooted in real soil and real solutions. We’ll explore the ethics and principles of permaculture, along with urban and social permaculture theory, how to regenerate ecosystems and communities in small spaces and dense cities.
🌿 This class takes place in a working backyard permaculture site featuring:
• Active compost piles + worm bins
• Compost tea brewing
• Mushroom beds in woodchips
• Polyculture beds + food forests-in-progress
🛠️ Hands-On Activity
Everyone will set up a starter worm kit to build their own vermicompost system at home.
🎁 Each participant receives:
• 5 gallons of living compost & soil
• A worm bin starter
• A nourishing plant-based lunch (omnivorous option available)
• Practical permaculture knowledge you can apply immediately
