Karina is the heart behind La Estrella Tlahuia, a practice rooted in curanderismo, ceremony, and ancestral connection. As an apprentice of curanderismo, she weaves together traditional practices such as limpias, prayer, and sacred plant medicine with modern healing arts like sound baths and Reiki, creating spaces of deep release and renewal for body, mind, and spirit.
Her work is guided by intention, respect for the ancestors, and the belief that healing blossoms in community. Through copal smoke, fresh herbs, Reiki, sound, and the womb of the temazcal, Karina holds space for people to let go of what no longer serves them and reconnect with clarity, grounding, and the cycles of life.
🌿 Pre-Temazcal Limpia
Before we enter the temazcal, you will receive a gentle, traditional limpia — a spiritual cleansing to help you arrive fully present for the ceremony and the medicine of hapéh.
Your limpia will include:
Copal smoke: cleanses heavy or stagnant energy, clearing space in your body and spirit.
Fresh herbs: sweep in vitality and protection, inviting renewal and grounding.
During your limpia, I will hold an intention for you, and you are also invited to set your own personal intention, whether it’s release, healing, clarity, or connection to your ancestors.
This simple ritual helps you:

Open your heart and mind for the medicine ahead
Step into the temazcal with clarity, balance, and presence
The limpia is a gentle, nourishing way to prepare your body, mind, and spirit for the journey.
The Temzacal will be a drum meditation and cellular activation lead by Lumina Xiuhcoatl Ehecahuitzilli. I am the Turquoise Snake Hummingbird of the wind. My lineage is of the Mexica, Yaqui and Purepecha nations from Mexico. I am also a 24 th generation Mayan Cacao ceremonial wisdom keeper.
Serving as a Medicine woman and Alchemist specializing in Soul Particle retrieval and cord cutting through soul contract re-writing in the Akashic Record for clients worldwide in the quantum field of creation.
I have alchemized a uniquely ancestral and shamanic form of healing that has aided clients worldwide to reclaim their soul sovereignty.
TIME: Arrive at 5:44 PM, Ceremony goes from 6 PM - 8 PM, you’re more than welcome to connect with community post ceremony until 10pm. Ceremony includes lemongrass tea inside the Temazcal.
Additional offerings to the Ceremony upon request are cacao, fresh juice, fresh fruits, and Japè.

GENERAL LOGISTICS
Dress attire* Women: Bathing suits🩱are welcome. Traditionally a long sleeve, shawl, or top that covers your shoulders and long skirt is asked. We are an open space so more than welcome either way. Know it’ll get wet with the vapor from steam.
Men: Wear swimming trunks, no shirt or shirt is fine. Personal water container/cup Towel for post cold shower
🅿️ parking is street parking, first come first serve. If hard to find spots you can park across the way at our local park Eugen Park (2 min walk to the house)
PREPARATION: Please refrain from any of the following:
● Drugs of any kind (over the counter, includes marijuana and microdosing)
● Alcohol
DONATION: $55 for this experience—$22.22 deposit is required to hold your spot (Venmo: @casadehealing).
- The Temazcal and our other healing ceremonies are sacred and require big energetic commitments from our facilitators and space, which is why we urge our community to RSVP via deposit, and to honor the commitment to the medicine and more importantly, to themselves.
- Deposits are non-refundable, but transferrable to a future event or experience—just reach out to us through Instagram (@casadehealing) WhatsApp, or email (casadehealing@gmail.com) to let us know and make the change ASAP.
- Donations help support the maintenance of the land and resources—note that we work hard to keep donations accessible for the community.
